FAQs about your first visit

How much does a reproduction consultation cost?
Nothing. All our reproductive medicine consultations are free of charge. And attending them does not commit you to anything.
Should I make an appointment if I am already trying to get pregnant naturally?
If you have been trying to get pregnant for more than six months without success, the medical recommendation is to consult a specialist. Infertility is a more common medical condition than we think (18% of the population suffers from it), and it is important to address it as soon as possible, as time plays an important role.
What happens during consultation?
A gynaecologist specialised in assisted reproduction will be with you for about an hour. They will study your case (and that of your partner if you have one), assess all the evidence you can provide during the visit, perform an examination and a specific gynaecological ultrasound to assess your fertility and, if necessary, prescribe additional tests. We will provide you with a report, a diagnosis and a treatment proposal if appropriate. In this case, we will give you an estimate with a fixed price that includes everything you need to achieve your pregnancy.
What should I bring to the first consultation?
We recommend you bring any previous medical reports, recent blood tests, ultrasound scans, and any questions or concerns you may have.
Does my partner need to attend?
If possible, it is recommended that your partner attends the first consultation. The causes of infertility, if so far unclear, may involve either of you. And this is a process that we focus on finding a joint solution.
