My first attempt at becoming a mother through assisted reproduction was at a clinic in England. It didn’t work out. My gynaecologist then advised me to try a Spanish clinic, one based in Bilbao: iGin.
So I didn’t hesitate. There they asked me to undergo some tests that they had never asked me to do before. And thanks to the results of these tests and after studying my case, the medical team then recommended the appropriate treatment: egg donation.
And although the process was not easy, after three attempts and having turned 40, I can say that… I am pregnant! In fact, I just had my three-month ultrasound.
